About the UGREEN US122 (10374)

The UGREEN US122 (10374) is a 10-meter active USB 2.0 Type-A Male to Type-B Male printer cable. It features an integrated signal booster and supports data transfer rates up to 480Mbps with compatible equipment. Designed for standard USB-B peripherals, it offers a longer direct connection between computers and printers, scanners or other supported devices without requiring a separate USB extension cable.

Design & Performance

10-Meter Cable for Flexible Printer Placement

The UGREEN 10374 provides a 10-meter connection between a USB host and a compatible printer or peripheral. This extended length helps position equipment away from a computer, including across office desks, counters and classrooms.

It is particularly useful where a standard short printer cable cannot comfortably reach the connected equipment. Route the cable carefully to avoid damage or excessive tension.

Integrated Active Signal Booster

Unlike a conventional passive USB printer cable, the US122 includes active signal-conditioning electronics. The built-in booster is designed to support USB communication over the cable’s extended 10-meter length.

Actual reliability still depends on the host USB port, connected peripheral, available power and installation conditions. The booster does not guarantee compatibility with every USB device.

USB 2.0 Data Transfer up to 480Mbps

The cable supports the USB 2.0 High-Speed standard with a maximum theoretical data rate of 480Mbps. It is suitable for transferring print commands, scan data and other supported USB peripheral communications.

Real-world transfer rates depend on the connected equipment. The cable does not convert a USB 2.0 printer into a USB 3.0 device or increase its native transfer capability.

Standard USB-A to USB-B Connectors

The USB Type-A Male connector connects to a compatible computer or USB host, while the standard USB 2.0 Type-B Male connector fits supported printer-style USB-B ports.

It is not designed for USB-C, Micro-USB, Mini-USB or USB 3.0 Type-B sockets without an appropriate compatible solution. Check the port shape and USB connection requirements before ordering.

Durable Black Cable and Connector Design

The UGREEN 10374 features a black cable exterior and nickel-plated connector contacts. Its integrated construction combines the long cable run and active signal electronics in one convenient accessory.

For dependable use, avoid sharply bending the cable, pulling on the connector housings or routing it where it may be crushed by furniture or equipment.

Compatible Peripherals and Easy Installation

The cable is designed for supported printers, scanners, fax machines and other standard USB 2.0 Type-B peripherals. It may also be suitable for compatible USB-B audio or musical equipment when the host and peripheral meet the required USB specifications.

The cable itself does not need a separate driver, but a printer, scanner or other peripheral may require its manufacturer’s software. The active circuitry operates using the USB connection, with no separate external power adapter specified.

Who It’s For

Office Professionals: Connect printers positioned away from desktop computers. Schools and Training Centers: Set up supported printers across classrooms or computer areas. Print Shops: Connect compatible USB-B printing equipment across workstations. Home Users: Position a printer away from a desk. IT Technicians: Install longer USB printer connections where a standard passive cable is unsuitable.
