The UGREEN MM120 (30840) is an active VGA to HDMI converter cable designed for connecting compatible computers with VGA output to modern HDMI displays. It features a VGA male input, USB-A male connector and HDMI male output. Its integrated conversion electronics support Full HD resolution up to 1080p at 60Hz, while the USB connection provides operating power and compatible audio input. The 2-meter cable offers a convenient connection for everyday display setups.

Design & Performance

Active VGA to HDMI Signal Conversion

The UGREEN MM120 converts analog VGA video from compatible computers into a digital HDMI signal. This allows older VGA-equipped desktops and laptops to connect to HDMI monitors, TVs and projectors without requiring a separate converter box.

Conversion is directional, from VGA source to HDMI display. The cable cannot convert HDMI output into VGA input.

Full HD 1080p at 60Hz

The converter supports video output up to 1920×1080 at 60Hz, providing clear Full HD visuals for compatible monitors and projectors. It is suitable for office applications, presentations, educational content and everyday desktop use.

Actual display resolution depends on the VGA source, HDMI display and supported display modes. It does not support 4K output.

USB Audio and Power Connection

The integrated USB-A connector provides operating power and compatible digital audio input from the source computer. The conversion circuitry combines the VGA video and USB audio into an HDMI output signal for supported displays.

For sound playback, the computer may need its audio output set to the appropriate USB audio device. HDMI sound also requires a display or connected audio system capable of playing it.
